On numerous occasions, churches have been established as the direct result of evangelistic crusades. It is a joy to see these new believers unite themselves together as a New Testament local church.
Opportunities have sometimes arisen which allowed us to assist a group of believers who met together as a local church to build a much needed building. We have done this on occasion by either raising the needed funds for the project or by acting as an intercessor between the nationals and other ministries in the US.
In some regions where we labor, the laws of a country do not allow foreigners to enter as missionaries. These restrictions prevent an American from pastoring a church. In such cases, we train men who have surrendered to the Lord's calling upon their lives. From among the literally thousands who have sat before us in colleges throughout Southeast Asia, a great many whose number we cannot tell have gone forth to establish local churches among their own people.
