As I labored in evangelism years ago, I felt that I must give myself to international efforts of taking the Gospel to the unreached peoples of humanity and strive to encourage the church in that endeavor. As a result of the many opportunities that followed through the years in partnership with nationals, our ministry became known as MAPS Global Network ... often simply called MAPS - Mobilization And Partnership Strategies.
We have been entering into Southeast Asia since 1998. Since then, we have assisted in the training of thousands, witnessed the salvation of multitudes, partnered in the establishing of churches, labored together with great leaders, and translated materials into multiple languages.
Although we have maintained a presence in India since 1998, laboring within the country each and every year ... the dates below mark special highlights in our ministry. Every year has been filled with activity. We have continuously pressed forward. These are only a few highlights. Take a few moments and browse through the years.
We began our labors in Southeast Asia in 1998. Our first efforts included assisting in the training of nationals in one of the largest Independent Baptist colleges in India.
We launched our evangelistic crusades. These meetings continued for 11 consecutive years in one location. This was also the first year that teams accompanied us to India to assist in various projects.
In 2009, Samantha began teaching classes in India. She has provided instruction in music, counseling, and ladies ministry.
In 2011, Rachel began donating and distributing violins in India. Through her efforts of instruction and contribution, violins were placed in the hands of many who commenced music ministry in various parts of India.
Translation and publications efforts began in various languages.
We commenced translation efforts in Myanmar. Our schedule included a survey trip to Thailand in hopes of expanding our efforts in Southeast Asia.
We launched our radio broadcast "The Voice Of Vision" in partnership with the Fundamental Broadcasting Efforts.
We established our radio cloud platform that provides programming in multiple languages of India.
